Salerno Airport chooces iPort DCS as their preferred DCS

Italian Pantelleria Airport signs an iPort contract

The airport on the idyllic Italian island Pantelleria has signed an iPort DCS contract. Pantelleria airport is the 15th Italian airport that will use iPort DCS.

New iPort DCS version loaded, available for the entire iPort DCS user community

​A new version of iPort DCS, version v4.93, has been deployed. As always, the new version is always immediately available for all iPort DCS users, without any action required on their side. Version v4.93 includes enhancements in the Load Controller - Load Master communication, in the configuration of currencies in the iSales module, in the security messaging program for flights to Canada, and more.

Germania (ST) expands its network in Turkey with iPort DCS

​The german carrier Germania (ST) has implemented iPort DCS in multiple stations in Turkey. They've expanded their network with the airports of Hatay, Edremit, Adana, Kayseri and more.

Plus Ultra Lineas Aereas (PU) sign an iPort DCS agreement

​Plus Ultra, with its homebase in Madrid, will be using iPort DCS in multiple stations in their network, including Lima, Madrid and Santiago de Chile. The system will also give them insight into all their operations from their operations centre in Madrid. From there, iPort DCS will be used for centralized load control.

Chicago (ORD) and Pittsburgh (PIT) added to the iPort network

​The Icelandic carrier WOW air added more American airports to its network. Thursday 13 July Total Airport Services handled the first flight from Chicago O'Hare International Airport to Reykjavik successfully in iPort DCS. In Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT), started with their first flight on June 16th.

TUIFly Germany launches self service baggage drop off in Munich (MUC) and Stuttgart (STR)

​This week TUIfly Germany (X3) launched the use of Self Service Baggage Drop Off Points in the airports in Munich (MUC) and Stuttgart (STR). The bag drop devices are connected to iPort DCS in order to exchange passenger and baggage information. The introduction of this new service is another step to improve the passenger flow at the airport.

TUIFly Belgium switches to iPort DCS in Metz, France (ETZ)

After a 3-day training from the 21st until the 23rd of August, the handling staff at the airport of Metz-Nancy-Lorraine in France successfully handled their first flight in iPort DCS on the 24th of August. TUIfly Belgium operated from Metz towards Casablanca, Morocco with a B737-800.

iPort DCS activated at Essaouira (ESU) and Ouarzazate (OZZ), the 9th and 10th Moroccan airport

​RAM Handling successfully handled their first flights in iPort DCS in ESU and OZZ on October 6th. The launch flight was operated by TUIfly Belgium towards Charleroi (CRL). Thanks to the addition of ESU an OZZ, iPort DCS is now active in 10 airports in Morocco.

Regional Airline Air choice one switch entire network to iPort DCS, TUIfly Belgium and XL Airways switch to iPort DCS in Toulouse, France (TLS)

​Air Choice One (3E) - a regional airline based in St. Louis, Missouri offering commuter flights - have switched their entire network to iPort DCS. Air Choice One's current network consists of 10 airports, offering an extraordinary opportunity to connect smaller regional airports to major hubs, like St. Louis and Chicago. With our DCS solution we are looking forward to supporting Air Choice One in the expansion of its network, connecting more people to the airline network.

TUIfly Belgium (TB) and XL Airways (SE) - After a 3-day training course and one day’s configuration in mid October, staff at Toulouse airport in France handled their first flight successfully in iPort DCS on the 20th of October. TUIfly Belgium was soon followed by XL Airways which started flying from Toulouse 31st of October.
